Most families start by solving the logistics. Someone to drive to appointments. Someone to pick up groceries. Someone to check in... those things matter. But at some point — it becomes clear that logistics aren't the problem. The problem is that your parent is spending most of their time alone and that the person they used to be is getting harder to find.
At The Koda Collective we curate connections between older adults who want to return to a life of meaning and connection with companions pursuing careers in the arts. Our companions bring creativity, curiosity, and cultural insight to every visit while also meeting the basic needs of our clients — building relationships that are enriching, human and life changing.
